The Board of Education Work Session scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. has been cancelled.

The next Board Meeting will be held on April 22, 2024, as scheduled.

Heritage Southwest ISD will hold a public hearing on April 11, 2024 to discuss and review a Countywide application for a three-year Pre-Labor Day Start waiver. The Countywide waiver allows all districts within the county to opt-in during the three-year period if they so choose. Each district determines their start date.

Please join me on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., in the Intermediate Cafetorium for an interactive discussion that will be used in the creation of our new 5 Year Districtwide Strategic Plan. Your feedback will guide the District in developing new goals and strategies.

There will be a question and answer session on the ZERO Mill Bond Proposal that will be brought before the community on May 7, 2024.

A Special Board of Education Meeting has been scheduled for February 12, 2024 at 7:00pm.

The agenda is posted under the Board Agenda section of the EPS Website.

Upon request to the Superintendent, the District shall make reasonable accommodation for a person with disabilities to be able to participate in this meeting.

While the majority of the roads in our district are safe for travel we have a few that are not. Due to this reason after school practices are voluntary and at a parent's discretion if they feel it is safe for their student to travel to school.

The Community Meeting scheduled for 6:00 pm this evening at the Intermediate is also being postponed. More information regarding a rescheduled date will be sent out in the next few days. Please stay safe and have a wonderful evening.

EPS Schools will be closed today, January 23, 2024 due to the icy and unsafe road conditions. We will update all after school and evening activities later today once we have a better idea of what the road conditions will be at that time.

All EPS athletic competitions, except for bowling, will be played this afternoon and evening as scheduled. Tonight's Family Reading Night at the Primary is canceled and will be rescheduled.
