Deputy Superintendent Kyle Guerrant, of the Michigan Department of Education,
visited all five of our schools, on Friday, April 28, 2017.
He toured gender specific, looping, and multiage classrooms,
and observed our 1:1 technology while interacting with students and staff.
We were excited to share our various educational opportunities available at EPS!

EDWARDSBURG PUBLIC SCHOOLS HOMECOMING 2016 VIDEO
Volunteer Background ChecksVolunteers play a very important role in the educational experience offered at Edwardsburg Public Schools. We are thankful for the generous support of hundreds of individuals who donate their time in our schools. Because of the importance of student safety, the district requires that all volunteers who are in regular direct contact with students complete a yearly Volunteer Release Form for an Internet Criminal History check. This includes volunteer coaches and volunteers who travel on trips with students. Prospective and current volunteers will need to fill out the form and provide a copy of your current driver's license. This form is available in your school's office or on our website. Current volunteers, as well as new volunteers, are required to undergo a background check. We appreciate your cooperation. Working together, we can provide great opportunities for our students.
Edwardsburg Public Schools has implemented a new Student Management System called PowerSchool which includes a new parent portal. PowerSchool is designed to help schools improve communication and to give users flexibility of access through mobile devices and includes specialized applications created with mobile devices in mind. The feature allows you to track your student’s grades and attendance. If you have several children in our district, you will now be able to access all of your children from one account.
The link for the parent portal is posted on the district home page under Parents/Students on the top of our district homepage or by clicking the link below
In preparation of the opening of the parent portal, each K-5 parent will receive information on how to access this new site and account information in the Parent Packets which will come home with each student. Parents who have students in grade 6-12 will receive a mailing with the information.
To begin accessing your child's information, you must first click on the Create Account button located below the sign in area. When you create an account, you will be able to enter the access information provided by the school. This information allows families with multiple students to set them up under ONE Parent Portal Account.

We are excited to bring you this new service.
